Vision and Mission

Rare Earth Magnesium Technology Group Holdings Limited (Stock code: 00601) (“REMT” or the “Group”) is the subsidiary of Century Sunshine Group Holdings Limited (Stock code: 00509). The principle business of the Group is to explore the development, manufacture and sales of magnesium alloy new material products. The production bases of the Group are situated in Xinjiang Autonomous Region and Jilin Province. We are competitive in producing the exclusive rare earth magnesium alloys products by leveraging on the professional research team and technology.

Our Xinjiang production base is situated at Hami City, the main connection point of the implementation of the “One Belt, One Road” strategy of the PRC government. The Xinjiang production base accredited“high-tech enterprise”, continued to focus on research development and technology, with the vertical retorts smelting production line installed which can reduce labour intensity and achieve mechanization, automation and humanized production of the magnesium smelting process. These strengthen the leading position of the Group’s magnesium production technology in the industry.

The Group owns several patents relating to the manufacture and production technology of magnesium alloy products. With the technology of these patents, our rare earth magnesium products have been successfully applied to aerospace vehicles. The Group has comprehensively adopted the advanced and mature technology and equipment in China, giving full play to its advantages of energy conservation, environmental friendliness, good quality and high efficiency. We are constantly driven by technological innovation and creation, accumulating strong kinetic energy to enhance our core competitiveness, to realise the modernization of our production technology and to promote the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements. We are determined to lead the development of a new era of high technology in the magnesium industry.

Magnesium alloy is light material featuring in high resistance, vibration and noise reduction, resistant to electromagnetic radiation, environmentally friendly and with abundant resources. It is the "green engineering material with the greatest potential for development and application in the 21st century" and has become a global application research hotspot and development focus and obtained extensive attention in many industries. The downstream application of magnesium alloys continues to expand. In addition to its application in transportation, 3C electronics, and aerospace sectors, magnesium alloy new materials are used in new energy vehicles, biomedicine, 5G base stations, magnesium building modules, magnesium-based hydrogen storage materials, magnesium batteries, and other fields. The rapid development of new energy vehicles has driven the promotion of vehicle light weighting. Automotive light weighting means reducing a car’s weight while ensuring stable improvement of driving safety, durability, and comfort, among other factors. The development of automotive light weighting is the general trend, driving the demand for lightweight materials such as magnesium and aluminium alloys. Using magnesium alloys can reduce weight by 30% to 40% on top of the aluminium’s lightness. With the improvement of magnesium alloy die-casting technology, the transition of magnesium parts from small to large, and the decrease in the magnesium-aluminium price ratio, the advantages of magnesium alloy structural parts replacing aluminium alloy structural parts has become increasingly prominent.

Magnesium is recognised as one of the three major materials following steel and aluminum. Magnesium alloys products are widely applied in aerospace, military, transportation and high-tech areas with its outstanding capability. Its application has been increasing amid the trend of environmental protection and a greener era.
